Traditional aluminium window
A benchmark in the construction of all types of structures: fixed, single or double doors and windows, tilt-and-turn windows, etc.
With 42 mm tubular or single frames, with or without joint covers, the series is perfectly suited to the various series in the Nafida Aluminium range for the creation of composite frames.

Description

PROFILE
The profiles that make up the Nafida Aluminium range are obtained by press spinning.
The profiles are made from 6060 BUILDING QUALITY alloy, whose impurity tolerances are significantly lower than those permitted by the standard.

PROTECTION

  • By chemical anodisation with the "QUALANOD, EWAA, EURAAS" label, natural colour and bronze colour.
    The profiles are available in a class 15 anodised finish (15 to 18 microns) in accordance with standard NFP 24.351.

  • Polyester powder coating with "QUALICOAT" and "QUALIMARINE" certification.
    The minimum coating thickness is 60 microns for continuously visible surfaces, RAL colours.

DORMANT

  • Single or tubular with 20 mm and 25 mm joint covers.

  • Single without cover strip, adaptable to the sliding series.

  • Tubular with a 25 mm cover strip.

OPENING
Straight tubular openings. Their thickness is 40 mm.
Openings of different sections depending on use (window or door/French window).

ASSEMBLY
Frames and openings cut at 45° using treated steel screw brackets.
The cuts will be sealed with a product such as "Small-Joint" or similar.

GLASSING
Single glazing from 4 to 16 mm, held in place by two PVC seals on a straight or curved clipped glazing bead, with a minimum height of 14 mm (rebate depth).
Glazing beads must be on the inside of the structure.

DRAINAGE
Any water infiltration is drained through oblong holes in the bottom rail of the frame.

WEATHERSEALING OF OPENINGS
Weathersealing is achieved by compressing two rotating seals when closing.

HARDWARE

  • Bellows: Using hinges depending on the width and weight of the glazing, and compasses to hold it in the open position.

  • French window: Secured by rebated hinges fitted after the frames have been assembled.
    The hinges shall be made of aluminium, and their number and model shall be adapted to the weight and dimensions of the joinery.

LOCKING

  • Bellows: Locking is provided by an aluminium latch with adjustment wedges.

  • French-style opening: Locking is provided by an English-style handle, a cremone bolt or a metal lock operated by an aluminium lever handle.
