PROFILES
The profiles in the Profils Systèmes range are produced by press extrusion, alloy no. 6060 BUILDING QUALITY, with impurity tolerances stricter than the standard.
PROTECTION
- By chemical anodizing with the « QUALANOD » label, available in natural and bronze finishes.
- Stock profiles are available in anodized finish class 20 (20 to 24 microns).
- By polyester powder coating with the « QUALICOAT » label, Seaside mention, as well as « QUALILAQUAGE » and « QUALIMARINE » certifications.
- The minimum lacquer thickness is 60 microns for continuously visible surfaces.
FRAME
Tubular with a thickness of 70 mm, with the possibility to clip flanges and cover strips and to add rebates for insulation thicknesses of 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, and 200 mm.
SASH
Tubular, straight on the outside, with straight glazing beads on the inside. Its thickness is 78.1 mm.
ASSEMBLY
- 45° cut
- Frames and sashes assembled using pin brackets.
- All cuts are sealed with a product such as « Small-Joint » or equivalent.
GLAZING
- Frames and glazed sashes accept insulating glass of 28 mm, secured with 2 EPDM and/or TPE gaskets and a clipped glazing bead with a minimum height of 16 mm (rebate depth).
- Glazing beads must always be on the exterior side of the building.
DRAINAGE
- Water drainage is provided via oblong or rectangular holes in the bottom rail, optionally with drain cups with check valves.
- Drainage is carried out by drilling, punching, or milling.
FRENCH WINDOW
- Sealing: Achieved by compression of 2 EPDM and/or TPE gaskets when closing, with pressure equalization on the frame.
- Hinges: Provided by rebated hinges with nylon sleeves reinforced with fiberglass for windows and French doors. They are reversible and installed after frame assembly, with shims for height adjustment. Made of aluminum and/or stainless steel. Their number and type are adapted to the weight and dimensions of the joinery.
- Locking: Using a 1/4-turn lacquered aluminum handle for single- and double-leaf windows. Locking is via 2-point espagnolette, with upper and lower keepers clamped in the frame rebate. For large dimensions, additional locking points may be installed on the espagnolette rod or extension, as well as keepers on the semi-fixed part. All hardware is installed after assembly of the frame and sash.
TILT & TURN WINDOW
- Sealing: Achieved by compression of 2 EPDM and/or TPE gaskets when closing, with pressure equalization on the frame.
- Hinges and locking: Single-operation hardware with rotating handle, rods, locking arms, and anti-misoperation system.
AWNING WINDOW
- Sealing: Achieved by compression of 2 EPDM and/or TPE gaskets when closing, with pressure equalization on the frame.
- Hinges: Either rebated hinges with nylon sleeves reinforced with fiberglass for windows and French doors, reversible and installed after frame assembly, with shims for height adjustment. Made of aluminum and/or stainless steel. Their number and type are adapted to the weight and dimensions of the joinery.
- Locking: Using a 1/4-turn lacquered aluminum handle. Locking is done either:
- With 1-point espagnolette, with roller keepers clamped in the frame rebate.
- With 3-point espagnolette, with roller keepers clamped in the frame rebate.
