PRODUCT CONCEPT:

Window, French window and front door with a frame thickness of 41 mm
and a sash thickness of 41 mm.

Description

Profiles
The profiles in the Comfort Line range are extruded from 6060 Building Quality alloy. This material has stricter impurity tolerances than the current standard.

Surface protection

  • Chemical anodisation, QUALANOD certified, in natural or bronze colour.
    The profiles available in stock have a class 20 anodised finish (20 to 24 microns).

  • By polyester powder coating, with QUALICOAT (Seaside certification), QUALILAQUAGE and QUALIMARINE certification.
    The minimum coating thickness is 60 microns for continuously visible surfaces.

Frame
41 mm thick tubular profile, with the option of clipping on the joint cover and drip cap.

Sash
Rounded or straight tubular profile, with concealed drainage inside and outside.
Thickness: 41 mm.

Assembly
Assembly of frames and openings using pin brackets.
All assembly parts are made of aluminium and/or stainless steel. Cuts are sealed with "Small-joint" type sealant or equivalent.

Glazing: Single or laminated, 4 to 20 mm thick, held in place by two EPDM seals and a clipped glazing bead (minimum height: 21.5 mm – rebate depth).
Glazing beads must be placed on the inside.

Types of frames available

French windows

  • Sealing: by compression of two EPDM seals when closing; the two rebate seals are identical and rotating.

  • Fittings: provided by reversible rebate hinges, installed after assembly. Height adjustment possible via shims. Aluminium and/or stainless steel hinges.

  • Locking: by means of a 1/4 turn lacquered aluminium espagnolette handle (for single or double leaf frames).
    Closure by 2-point espagnolette, with high and low strike plate in the frame rebate.
    Additional locking points can be added to the espagnolette rod for French windows.

Tilt-and-turn frame

  • Weatherproofing: by compression of two identical rotating EPDM seals.

  • Fittings and locking: single-control fitting with rotating handle, rods, locking compasses and anti-mishandling system.

Bellows frame

  • Weatherproofing: identical to other frames, using two EPDM compression seals.

  • Fittings: 2 to 4 hinges depending on the width and weight of the glazing (identical to those used on casement frames).

  • Locking:

    • 1 clamp latch for sashes up to 800 mm

    • 2 latches for door leaves over 800 mm

Hinged door

  • Sealing: by compression of two identical, rotating EPDM seals.

  • Fittings: provided by reversible, height-adjustable rebated hinges. Material: aluminium and/or stainless steel.

  • Locking: by 1, 2 or 3-point lock, with bolt controlled by aluminium handle and stainless steel security bolt controlled by European cylinder.

Recommended dimensions
Maximum dimensions: 2000 x 2300 mm with 2 leaves.
