PROFILES
The profiles making up the Profils Systèmes range are produced by extrusion pressing, alloy no. 6060 BUILDING QUALITY, with stricter impurity tolerance levels than the standard.
PROTECTION
- Chemical anodization certified with the “QUALANOD” label, available in natural and bronze finishes.
- Stock profiles are available in class 20 anodized finish (20 to 24 microns).
- Polyester powder coating certified with the “QUALICOAT” label, Seaside specification, as well as the “QUALILAQUAGE” and “QUALIMARINE” labels.
- The minimum coating thickness is 60 microns for continuously visible surfaces.
FRAME
- Tubular, with a thickness of 70 mm, allowing clipping of weatherstrips and cover trims, as well as the addition of extension profiles to accommodate lining thicknesses of 100, 120, 140, 160, 180 and 200 mm.
SASH
- The tubular sashes are straight on the exterior side, with straight glazing beads on the interior.
- Their thickness is 78.1 mm.
ASSEMBLY
- 45° cut
- Frames and sashes assembled with dowelled corner cleats.
- Cuts are sealed with a sealant such as “Small-Joint” or equivalent.
GLAZING
- Frames accept fixed glazing from 6 to 50 mm.
- Beaded sashes accept insulating glazing from 24 to 56 mm, secured by 2 EPDM and/or TPE gaskets and a clipped glazing bead with a minimum height of 16 mm (from the rebate bottom).
- Glazing beads must always be installed on the interior side of the construction.
DRAINAGE
- Drainage of possible infiltration water is achieved through oblong or rectangular holes in the bottom transom, with or without drain nozzles with non-return valves.
- It is carried out by drilling, punching, or milling.
FRENCH CASEMENT
- Sealing: Achieved by compression of 2 EPDM and/or TPE gaskets when closing, with pressure equalization on the frame.
- Hinges:
Hinging is ensured by rebated hinges with nylon sleeves reinforced with fiberglass for windows and French doors. They are reversible and installed after frame assembly, on sash and frame, with shims allowing height adjustment. They are made of aluminum and/or stainless steel.
The number and model depend on the weight and dimensions of the joinery. - Locking:
By ¼-turn cremone handle in lacquered aluminum for single and double-sash casements.
Closing is achieved with 2-point cremone bolts, with top and bottom strike plates in the frame rebate.
For larger dimensions, additional locking points may be fitted on the cremone rod or extension, as well as strike plates on the semi-fixed sash.
All hardware is installed after frame and sash assembly.
TILT & TURN CASEMENT
- Sealing:
Achieved by compression of 2 EPDM and/or TPE gaskets when closing, with pressure equalization on the frame. - Hinges and locking:
Single-command hardware with turning handle, rods, locking scissors, and anti-misoperation device.
TOP-HUNG CASEMENT
- Sealing:
Achieved by compression of 2 EPDM and/or TPE gaskets when closing, with pressure equalization on the frame. - Hinges:
Hinging is ensured either by rebated hinges with nylon sleeves reinforced with fiberglass for windows and French doors. They are reversible and installed after frame assembly, on sash and frame, with shims allowing height adjustment.
They are made of aluminum and/or stainless steel. Their number and model depend on the weight and dimensions of the joinery.
Or by pins. Their number and model depend on the weight and dimensions of the joinery. - Locking:
By ¼-turn cremone handle in lacquered aluminum.
Closing is achieved:- Either with 1-point cremone bolt, with roller strike plate in the frame rebate.
- Or with 3-point cremone bolt, with roller strike plates in the frame rebate.
