The extrusion process consists in forcing an aluminium billet to flow through a metal part called a die, which has the exact shape of the desired profile.
The profiles remain rough extruded, or are subjected to a surface treatment by anodizing or powder coating.
Aluminium du Maroc manufactures all solid or hollow profiles with a circumscribed circle from 5 to 220 mm for countless applications.
The alloys used are of the family Al Mg Si standardised AFNOR under the references 6060 “Building” and 6106.
These alloys are recommended for their strength and their excellent aptitude for anodic oxidation, bending and welding. They are also perfectly suited for decorative applications.
