The company was created in 1976 in partnership with the Péchiney group, successively absorbed by Alcan and then Rio Tinto, the world leader in the aluminium industry in the 2000s. Since then, Rio Tinto’s shares have been sold to various Moroccan investors and to the stock market.
With an experienced team, supervised by engineers and high level executives, Aluminium du Maroc has a unique expertise recognized in Morocco as well as at the international level.
